
Sino-German Automotive Summit within China EV100 Forum
Initiated on January 21, 2018, the 1st Sino-German Automotive Summit organized by China EV100 and VDA China, with participants of governmental officials and executives from automotive companies of both sides.
The summit was conducted with an open and a closed-door session themed “Boosting Vehicle Electrification & Leading Industrial New Trends”. In the open session, both Dr. Wolfgang Scheremet (Director General, BMWi) and Mr. Guochun QU (Deputy Director General, MIIT) confirmed the fruitful outcomes of Sino-German cooperation in automotive fields. They also shared the common view for further communication to face the challenges together. The OEMs from both sides incl. BMW, Daimler, VW, FAW, BAIC, and Chang’an shared their corporate strategy and insights of NEV development.
In 2019, 2020 VDA China consecutively co-organized Sino-German Automotive Summit with EV100, which built the great platform to exchange and discuss the major issues of the electric mobility development among Chinese and German industry players.
